Recourse to mediation is an alternative mechanism that is not a prerequisite for taking legal action.
Therefore, notwithstanding the above, if no amicable solution is found (including following the mediation process described above), you have the option of bringing your claim or dispute directly before a court without following an amicable resolution process; the courts of Nanterre will have jurisdiction to hear any dispute, unless otherwise provided by law which would refer to the mandatory jurisdiction of a foreign court.
